A 1' tapered block also will not hurt the pinion angle. If you do it right you can get up to a 33' tire with the 2 1/2' Procomp front leveling kit.
If you like the front higher than rear you don't need the 1' tapered rear blocks. I prefer the block to level the truck. Now, if you want to put coil-overs on, you have to spend some good money. It's your truck, just don't go too tall if you do a leveling kit. He's looking for budget lift. Again, 2 1/2' leveling kit will hurt nothing. My 2015 has been serviced by the dealer I purchased it from and they say it is fine and will not hurt anything.
We offer a full selection of genuine Toyota Pickup Bump Stops, engineered specifically to restore factory performance. Please narrow the Bump Stopper results by selecting the vehicle. Pickup and SUV. Trailer Swaying? Hauling a heavy load? If you need more load capacity, stability, and a generally smoother ride in your vehicle, timbren springs for pickup, suv and van are a perfect solution. A Timbren Kit is mounted between the axle and the chassis, working in conjunction with the existing suspension to protect your springs from being overloaded.
But that is maximum. The ride changed little until I replaced the stock wheels and tire to the over-sized off-road tires. You are posting pics of a completely different setup.
And if you're jumping off-road you will break. regardless. I have over 10,000 miles on my leveling kit, taken it off-roading many times and NO issues including alignment. Stop trying to scare this guy.
I agree coil-overs are great but for a minor lift and not trying to make his truck do jumps, he will be fine with a leveling kit. The pic of the bent shock looks like it was at the end of it's life and the shock was frozen. Not from any leveling kit from what I see in the pic. Regarding 10 ply VS 4 ply the difference in cost was minimal.
Like maybe $10 or $15 more each and give you about 40,000 more miles on the tires. Also, very difficult to damage them when off-roading. Also great if you are going to trailer anything. Read up on them. Click to expand.5100s are just the shocks of the whole coilover assembly. Our suspension is a coilover setup already.People have had issues just driving on the street not jumping their trucks. The dealer doesn't know. about anything besides what the computer tells them. The picture I posted was from a top plate spacer lift equipped truck.
There's plenty more out there of the same issue. Here's more of spacer lift equipped trucks:Those pictures have nothing to do with alignment. Shock bottoms out before the bump stop is hit and boom.10 ply tires on a light truck is retarded unless you're rock crawling all the time. 5100s are just the shocks of the whole coilover assembly. I know these are spacer lift equipped trucks because I was around when the thread was started of the owner showing us the damage.Basically the coilover assembly is moved down to achieve the lift. So because of that the shock can run out of travel before the lower control arm hits the bump stop. Your shock turns into the bump stop and what you see is what can happen on a hard enough hit. One guy bent both on a pothole on the freeway. Obviously your dealer isn't going to mention this because they want to make money off of you. They got a check to exclusively sell a certain brand like my dealer did from Readylift. As far as retardation goes.you said it.

Axle-Less Trailer Suspension SystemsHaving trouble keeping your trailer suspension in shape while travelling on and off the road? Timbren offers 'Axle-Less' trailer suspension kits that will give you a more quiet and softer ride quality whether your trailer is are loaded or unloaded. These Timbren suspension systems are designed to fit any frame width and are classified based on weight capacity as well as tire type. Are available in 400lb, 1200lb, 2000lb, 3500lb and 5,200lb options and will fit trailers equipped with both offroad and highway tires. The goal of the axle less suspension is to provide you with a safe, reliable and durable option for users who haul with their trailer even on the toughest of terrains. Above is a generic video of the installation and performance of a Timbren spring on the front of a vehicle equipped with a snow plow.
Again, this is generic and installation procedure, parts and schematics may vary depending on applications. When a plow is placed on the front end of the truck, the weight will stress and sag the front which can cause front end damage, uneven weight distribution and less power transfer from the rear tires. The timbren load booster is a solution that will correct these problems. The unit first assembles with the appropriate mounting brackets and rubber cushion that will be held together with a single bolt. Then, the stem of the bolt is placed through and existing hole typically above the radius arm on the frame and held tight with a small nut. With the Timbren kit in place, the vehicle will remain level by the unit absorbing the additional weight and filling the void between the frame and radius arm. These small and simple to install kits prove to be one of the most affective products in redistributing weight to rear tires, avoiding front end damage and keeping the ride completely unaffected when the plow is not attached.
